Four Kuwaitis hurt in Salmiya quarrel

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 2: Four Kuwaitis sustained various degrees of injuries during a quarrel in Salmiya area. The fight had resulted from a previous disagreement. A team of paramedics accompanied securitymen to the scene after the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry received a distress call about the incident. The injured citizens were referred to Mubarak Hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, an Asian expatriate filed a case against an unknown person who assaulted him in Farwaniya area. He provided details of the suspect to securitymen for his arrest.

Bedoun nabbed: A Bedoun youth was arrested in Fintas area for possessing illicit drugs. A security source said officers on a round of Ahmadi governorate apprehended the Bedoun at a parking lot in Fintas area after they discovered illicit drugs on him. He was referred to Drug Prosecution. Meanwhile, securitymen arrested a Kuwaiti citizen accompanied by a female compatriot on Khiran Motorway under the influence of alcohol.

‘Stuntmen’ arrested: Ahmadi securitymen arrested three motorists for performing stunts with their vehicles on the New Year. Security Chief of Ahmadi Brigadier Abdullah Safah received information about a group of motorists performing stunts and fireworks on roads. A team of securitymen rushed to the location and referred the suspects to the area police station
