Fire breaks out in under-construction private hospital

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 13: Fire broke out in a private hospital under construction in Mahboula area. No casualties were reported. In a press release, the Public Relations and Media Department of Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) explained that the Control Room of KFSD, after receiving information about the under- construction hospital on fire, dispatched four fire-fighting teams to the location.

They discovered that the building contained two basements, a ground floor, and nine floors, and the fire broke out among some construction items on the second floor. After extinguishing the fire, an investigation was launched to determine the cause of the fire. Deputy Director General of Fire Control Sector Major General Jamal Al- Belaihees and other high-ranking officials were present at the location.
