Filipina “My Egyptian husband beat me’

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 28: An unidentified Filipina has filed a complaint with the police accusing her Egyptian husband of assaulting her, reports Al-Rai daily. In her complaint to one of the police stations in the Jahra Governorate the Filipina said the man attacked her after she left a store where she works. She told police she was involved in an argument with the husband before she left for work in the morning and the man came to the place of work and waited for her until she left and assaulted her.

She has given police description and other details of the husband. When the man was summoned for interrogation he admitted to beating her and said it was a family matter and he had to punish his wife because of what he called ‘misbehavior’. The husband has been referred for more interrogation.
