Filipina attending a party raped, robbed – 4 Pakistanis arrested for practicing sorcery

KUWAIT CITY, March 28: An unknown person raped a Filipina and stole her mobile phone plus KD 350 cash when she attended the birthday party of her friend in Ahmadi area. The incident took place inside the apartment of the lady compatriot who was holding a birthday party after she stepped out of the house to purchase some items in the cooperative society in the course of the party. The police arrested her for questioning after the victim filed a case against her but she denied any involvement. A case was registered for investigation to arrest the suspect.

4 people arrested for practicing sorcery
Police from the Capital Governorate have arrested four Pakistanis for practicing sorcery, reports Al-Rai daily. The Pakistanis were riding in car and looked confused when police approached them. Police then bodily searched the men and found in their possession witchcraft tools and printed material related to black magic.

3 held for alcohol use: Police have arrested three young Kuwaitis for consuming alcohol in a public place, reports Al-Anba daily. A security source said the arrest came after an Iraqi complained to the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior that the drunkards were causing nuisance and harassing him and his wife when they were at a seafront. The suspects have been detained at the Salmiya Police Station
