KUWAIT CITY, May 24: Employees at the Farwaniya Labor Department have proved themselves as committed and dedicated to duty in the holy month of Ramadan by accomplishing an average of 1000 transactions per day, reports Al-Qabas daily.

A field visit by the newspaper to the department revealed that the reception halls have been divided into two compartments. The first hall designated for company representatives (mandoubs) takes up to 200 persons, and the second hall where employees directly attend to owners of transactions takes 150 people.

He noted all types of transactions such as renewal, transfer, first time processing, cancellation, and other relevant manpower services are accomplished by the department. He said director of the department Fahad Minsar distributed 50 employees within the two halls to facilitate services. He also provided five sections for company representatives to avoid congestion while processing transactions.

He stressed the department has accomplished about 7000 transactions from the beginning of Ramadan until Thursday. He reiterated some employees resume work at 10:00am and close around 3:30pm to ensure they clear up huge assignments on their desks, although they’re expected to close at 2:30pm.
