Fashionista and her sister in State quarantine for violating home quarantine

KUWAIT CITY, March 19: Fashionista Noha Nabil and her sister have been quarantined at a State facility for violating the ‘home quarantine’ regulations, reports Al- Rai daily.

According to security sources the two women were picked up from their home by the security authorities in cooperation with the Ministry of Health compelled to spend the mandatory 14 days quarantine period at a government facility as a precautionary measure against the coronavirus. It is believed the Fashionista had arrived from one of the European countries.

The daily added, she was supposed to abide by the decisions issued by the State authorities which have laid down a set of guidelines for home quarantine for 14 days for those who arrive from abroad, and includes follow-up with preventive health doctors, according to what was earlier announced by the Ministry of Health.

Nabil is also said to have posted a video clip on her account showing non-compliance with home quarantine regulations, and going to the blood bank to donate, but this would expose others to the risks of transmitting the infection, especially as she did this before the expiry of the mandatory 14 days quarantine period. The Directorate General of Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Interior Ministry has called on the citizens and residents to abide by all the decisions issued by the concerned authorities regarding the novel Coronavirus in the best interests and the safety of all
