Fake branded T-shirts and sportswear seized in Hawally

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 15: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry recently discovered a large number of counterfeit T-shirts and sportswear in a store in Hawally. In a press statement, the ministry disclosed inspectors from Jabriya Center raided the store after obtaining information from a reliable source.

This led to the confiscation of 7,300 counterfeit T-shirts and 2,083 others which are ready for printing with imitation brand names. A case was registered and the store was shut down while the owner was referred to the Commercial Prosecution Department
