Expat examination center inaugurated in Mishref

KUWAIT CITY, June 27: Minister of Health Khaled Al-Saeed inaugurated the fifth Expat Examination Center (EEC) at the Exhibition Fairgrounds in the Mishref area, reports Al-Jarida daily. The daily added, the center has a capacity to examine up to 1,000 persons per day. The minister toured the center to inspect the progress of work after the opening of the center.

The minister was also briefed on the mechanisms followed from the moment visitors begin to arrive until the completion of transactions. Dr Al-Saeed stressed that the opening of the new center comes as a continuation of the ministry’s efforts, in coordination with the concerned government agencies, to ease pressure on other centers, in light of the increasing demand for labor examination during this period.

For his part, the Director of the Public Health Department, Dr. Mohammed Al-Saedan indicated that the center contains about 10 registration points for visitors, and an air-conditioned waiting area which can accommodate 500 people, in addition to 4 X-ray rooms and 20 clinics for blood testing. He explained the center boasts of 160 medical staff including doctors, nursing staff, radiology technicians and administrators The center works for about 12 hours, in two shifts, morning and evening.
