Ethiopian Shepherd attempts to murder sponsor

KUWAIT CITY, April 27: An Ethiopian shepherd was arrested for attempting to murder his Kuwaiti sponsor using a cleaver, says Al-Seyassah. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information from a Kuwaiti citizen about a shepherd attempting to murder his sponsor, securitymen rushed to the location and found the suspect standing in the pen of camels and holding a cleaver. When securitymen tried to arrest him, he resisted and ran but securitymen chased and caught him. They took him to the police station where a case was registered against the suspect.

Meanwhile, a 45-year old Kuwaiti citizen died of heart attack. When passersby saw the man suddenly collapse and bleed profusely from his nose, they notified the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior. Paramedics rushed to the location and discovered that he had died due to heart attack. His corpse was referred to the Forensics Department.

Liquor seized: Ahmadi securitymen discovered 80 bottles of locally manufactured liquor from a vehicle which was abandoned by its owner when he fled after noticing the securitymen. Investigations have been launched to find and arrest the runaway suspect, says Al-Seyassah. They also arrested two Kuwaiti citizens in possession of 60 narcotic pills and heroin, as well as five individuals who are wanted by law for financial fraud. Meanwhile, Farwaniya securitymen arrested a Syrian expatriate who is wanted by law for non-payment of debt worth KD 12,000. They also arrested a Kuwaiti citizen who is wanted by law for defaulting payment of KD 120,000. Furthermore, Capital securitymen arrested a Kuwaiti citizen in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
