Egyptian who hacked KUNA site to stay in jail

KUWAIT CITY, April 27: The Criminal Court has ruled not to release an Egyptian who is accused of hacking the account of the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), and broadcasting false news attributed to the Minister of Defense.

The hacker quoting the minister had broadcast the US government had taken a decision to withdraw US troops from Kuwait. After the suspect was arrested, he was referred to the State Security and the Public Prosecution after investigations referred him to the court for attributing what he had published to the Minister of Defense Sheikh Ahmad Mansour Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
