KUWAIT CITY, Sept 29: The Criminal Court has sentenced an Egyptian doctor to three years in jail but released him on 5,000 dinar bail for allegedly causing the death of Dora al-Haraz, reports Al-Anba daily.

The verdict includes a fine of 100 dinars for the manslaughter charge and ordered the physician to pay the family of the deceased 5,001 dinars as temporary compensation to the heirs of the victim.

The 13-year-old girl died at the Abdullah Al-Salem Dermatology Center after she was given a dose of anesthetic to remove a fat bag behind her ear. The incident dates back to September last year
