Egyptian arrested for stabbing Filipino in the back

KUWAIT CITY, May 28:Personnel from the Farwaniya Criminal Investigations Department have arrested an Egyptian for stabbing a Filipino in the back and robbing his money, reports Al-Anba daily.

As soon as the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry received a report on the incident, officers rushed to the spot and arrested the suspect. When police arrived at the scene of the crime they found the Filipino in a pool of blood.

He told police a man in dishdasha robbed his wallet, cell phone and the money which he had just withdrawn from an ATM machine, stabbed him in the back and escaped. The Egyptian has been referred to the Public Prosecution.
