Drunk Kuwaitis beat up police

KUWAIT CITY, March 18: Police have arrested two Kuwaitis, believed to be 24, 26 years old, respectively for consuming alcohol and assaulting a policeman of the Ali Sabah Al-Salem (Umm Al-Haiman) Police Station, reports Al-Rai daily. According to the security sources, the two drunkards entered the police station and said they had come to seek the release of a Bangladeshi. The victim who was on duty, discovered they were disoriented and when he attempted to arrest t hem, the attacked the policeman and verbally abused him. The policeman has submitted a medical report showing injury to his hand.

Caught after chase: Police have arrested an unidentified Egyptian man, who was wanted by law in connection with financial claims and forgeries worth KD 36,000, reports Al-Rai daily. The crimes included forging traffic transactions. The man reportedly When police asked him for the ID, he pretended to reach out for the document, stepped on the gas pedal and escaped. Police failed to chase him because one of the tires of the police car gave way. However, a backup force searched the area and took the man into custody.
