Documents required to apply for landline phone

Answer: To apply for a landline service, you need to go to the local branch of the Ministry of Communications’ office. The registration process is simple and only takes a few minutes. You need your ID and a proof of residency. You will be charged KD 60 for installation and subscription fees, plus an additional KD 5 stamp fee. All landline calls are free and hence you only have to pay for yearly subscription to the service which is KD 30.
