Do not park your vehicles in front of the transformers or on cable lines

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 2: A parked car in front of a Sabahiya substation area obstructed the Ministry of Electricity and Water teams in conducting repairs and maintenance work.

The Ministry’s teams, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, removed the vehicle from its place to complete the repair work.

The assistant undersecretary for the Ministry of Electricity and Water, Eng. Mutlaq Al-Otaibi, has requested citizens and expats not to park their vehicles in front of the transformers or on the cable lines, as it causes delay in repairs to restore current to the houses affected by the sporadic malfunctions due to the high temperatures and pressure on the network, he called everyone to inform the municipality of Kuwait notifying to take action.
