KUWAIT CITY, Aug 20: An Asian expatriate was arrested at Kuwait International Airport for attempting to smuggle diamonds into the country. According to security sources, the expatriate passenger, upon arrival at the airport, caught the eye of the customs officers because of his nervous behavior.
They checked his luggage and found diamonds of a certain quantity. When questioned, he confessed that he was planning to sell them at the jewelry stores in the country. He was referred with the diamonds to the concerned authorities for necessary measures.
