Several citizens and residents expressed their surprise over the decision taken by Kuwait Municipality to erect walls around fountains in squares and public areas, reports Al-Shahed daily.
They lamented that the move will actually spoil the beauty and appearance of these fountains, insisting that the plan of the municipality is contrary to applied norms in various countries around the world whereby the aim behind the establishment of these fountains is to add a touch of aesthetic beauty to markets and public areas in addition to being an entertainment escape for children. They wondered why the Municipality is depriving children from having a good time.
