Cross dresser assaulted in police lockup

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 11: An unidentified person who was locked at a local police station has filed a complaint with the same police station accusing one of the policemen of assaulting him for no reason, reports Al-Anba daily.

According to the complainant – who was put behind bars for impersonating women, and the case is still pending – said the suspect entered the cell at about 10:00 pm and assaulted him for no reason.

When the policeman was interrogated, he denied the charge and said he only entered the cell to search for the suspect based on information he had received. There are surveillance cameras inside the police station but they do not cover the cell. The case has been referred for investigation.
