KUWAIT CITY, Oct 21: Three Arab expatriates, two Egyptians and a Syrian, including a crossdresser were arrested in Salmiya area for drug peddling. According to security sources, when officers from the Criminal Investigations Department received information about three drug peddlers in Hawally Governorate, they formed a task force to monitor the suspects. After confirming the information, the officers took necessary legal measures and arrested two Egyptian men and a Syrian crossdresser. When questioned, they admitted to luring youths and selling drugs to them. The three suspects were referred with the confiscated drugs to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.

Bribing police: Police have arrested an unidentified Asian for attempting to bribe a police officer from the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station to secure the release of one of his relatives who had been arrested for violating the residence law, reports Al-Shahed daily. According to reports when the Asian offered KD 250 to the officer, the latter pretended to accept the offer and then set a trap for him and caught him red-handed.

Drugs with woman: A 30-year-old Kuwaiti woman has been arrested for possessing drug pills and hashish, reports Annahar daily. The daily added, the woman was arrested in Jabriya.
