KUWAIT CITY, Oct 17: The Environment Police in cooperation with the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR) raided several animal pens and farms and seized a number of wild animals which were illegally kept hidden by their owners, reports Al- Shahed daily. The daily added, the raid followed complaints filed by several people. The phenomenon of keeping wild animals such as crocodiles and hyenas and can be a threat to people’s lives. The campaign resulted in the seizure numbers of many wild animals. The animals have been confiscated and the owners referred to the concerned authorities.
Woman assaulted: A Kuwaiti woman has filed a complaint with the Fintas Police Station accusing her husband of assaulting her, reports Al- Rai daily. Without going into details, the daily said the victim has provided a medical report showing bruises on her body. The husband has been summoned for interrogation.
Kuwaiti arrested: A Kuwaiti born in 1985, who was wanted by law in civil cases has been arrested and referred to the Police Station, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added at the time of arrest the suspect was under the influence of drugs. The daily added, the arrest came after a Kuwaiti called the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior when the man unknowingly broke into the ma’s house in Maidan Hawalli and assaulted him.
Relative robbed: An unidentified Kuwaiti, born in 1972, is accusing his brother-in-law of stealing from him KD 400 and jewelry following family problems, reports Al-Anba daily. In his complaint to the Salam Police Station, the man said after he had an argument with his wife, she left the house and went to stay with her parents. The next day the suspect came to collect her clothes and picked up an argument with him and took his money and jewelry.
