Criminals, violators of law in Jleeb ‘face deportation’

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 11: The joint ministerial committee tasked to follow up the situation in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh called for administrative deportation of expatriates residing in the area once proven that they have violated the laws and regulations implemented in government agencies, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting a reliable source. According to the source; the committee’s tasks include listing all violations, proposing appropriate solutions, and laying down a mechanism to limit these violations.

The source disclosed that during its meeting on July 27, 2021; the committee discussed the obstacles they are facing, most notably the need to implement the administrative deportation of expatriates proven to have committed violations. The source said this will contribute significantly and effectively to ongoing efforts to eliminate negative phenomena such as random markets, street vendors, and individuals engaged in commercial activities without a license.
