‘Crime won’t be tolerated’

KUWAIT CITY, July 4: The Directorate-General of Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Interior Ministry as part of the efforts exerted by the Public Security Sector to contain criminal activity said police over a period of time have arrested 26 criminals, 62 civilians for various reasons, 8 reported absconding, 48 residence law violations, 112 for carrying no IDs, 33 vehicles wanted by law, recorded 58 drug and 7 alcohol cases, reports Al-Rai daily.

This is in addition to issuing 1,152 citations, impounding 25 vehicles, dealing with 595 accidents and 11 citations were issued for parking vehicles in places reserved for people with disabilities. The department explained the public security sector is continuing its efforts to confront crime and achieve security and safety for citizens and residents by applying the law on everyone without discrimination.
