Credit Bank implements 96 pct of Kuwaitization policy

‘Give priority to national products’

KUWAIT CITY, May 7: The Credit Bank of Kuwait affirmed that its top management strongly supports and encourage the national manpower by implementing the expatriate replacement policy (Kuwaitization).

He added the bank has attained 96 percent Kuwaitization in its various branches and administration, reports Al-Rai daily. Official spokesperson of the bank Habari Al-Khashti stated the bank took action to interpret the directives of the Council of Ministers, and implemented Civil Service Commission’s Decision No.11/2017 concerning the principles and procedures of Kuwaitizing government jobs.

He stressed that youthful employees below 40 years old cover 81 percent of the manpower and 58 percent of workers in that segment occupy supervisory positions. He pointed out that the method of operation in the company reflects the vision and strategy set by its management over the past few years.

He indicated the equilibrium was a product of concerted efforts exerted by its management over the years to pave the way for competent and experienced Kuwaiti youths who could occupy supervisory and leadership positions. He reiterated that obstacles and difficulties were removed to encourage hardwork and achievement.
