Court sentences Egyptian to 5 years jail for molestation

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 15: The Court of Appeals sentenced an Egyptian to five years in prison with hard labor for molesting a girl, reports Al-Qabas daily. During investigations, the accused admitted his crime as the victim identified him in a police lineup. The court did not consider the defendant’s claim that he is mentally ill, but it ordered his referral to a medical committee to assess his condition.
