KUWAIT CITY, Nov 24: The Family Court ordered a Kuwaiti citizen to pay KD 10,075 to his ex-wife, which is her share of revenues generated from renting out a flat that they jointly own since 2015, says Al-Seyassah daily.

Representing the woman was Lawyer Dalal Al-Mutairi who explained that her client’s exhusband took the revenues generated from the flat which her client and her ex-husband co-own, and her client has not been receiving any share from the proceeds generated from the rented flat.

Lawyer Al-Mutairi presented necessary documents at the court to prove the entitlement of her client to the proceeds of the real-estate, insisting that the defendant received all the proceeds through his personal account and did not give her client the due share from it.

The court ordered the defendant to pay the plaintiff revenues generated until the day the case was filed against him. After that, he should be depositing an amount of KD 325 on a monthly basis into the plaintiff’s bank account. The man was also ordered to pay the legal fees of KD 1,000.
