KUWAIT CITY, Oct 6: The Criminal Court adjourned until Dec 21 the hearing on the money laundering case of Sheikh Mazen Al-Jarrah and Nawaf Al-Shalahi — an offshoot of the ‘Bangladeshi representative’ case — for the defense to present their arguments, reports Al-Qabas daily. During deliberations on the main case in the Court of Cassation earlier, the court sentenced the accused to seven years in prison; that is, after filing an appeal. Both Al-Jarrah and Al-Shalahi attended the session, during which they denied involvement in money laundering.
