Coronavirus kills 7 ; 813 more infected in Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 21: Kuwait Ministry of Health reported 7 deaths and 813 cases due to COVID-19. The death toll climbed up to 721 and the infected cases to 118,531, health ministry data showed.
According to ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, the number of people hospitalized with the virus stands at 7,894; 130 of whom in intensive care units.
Al-Sanad added that 7,894 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hrs, with a total of 849,662 so far.
Meanwhile, some 718 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours to raise the total to 109,916, the ministry said.
