Cops doing drugs

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 14: Two policemen have been arrested by securitymen in two separate incidents for possessing and consuming drugs, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added one of the suspects was arrested in Ahmadi and the other in Mubarak Al-Kabir governorate.

Police also said one of them was carrying a firearm and ammunition. The daily added, when patrolmen in Ahmadi saw a motorist violating traffic rules followed him and asked to see his ID.

The latter looked confused and presented an official ID. Police searched the vehicle and found a gun, two magazines and 15 bullets. He has been handed over to the Criminal Investigations Department.

The other policeman, working for the Criminal Investigations Department was caught after he was involved in a traffic accident. Police seized from him drug consuming tools and referred him to the General Department for Drugs Control.

3 held with drugs: Police have arrested three young men — a Kuwaiti, a GCC citizen and a bedoun) for possessing and consuming alcohol, reports Al-Anba daily. The trio was caught drinking inside the parking lot of a well-known commercial complex in Farwaniya. The daily added, the arrest came after the complex administration informed the police. At the time of arrest the men were abnormal. Police have seized from their car a bottle of imported booze. The men have been referred to the General Department for Drugs Control.
