Contractor detained in death of Egyptian employee

KUWAIT CITY, April 26: Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) have arrested the contractor for interrogation in the ‘murder’ of an Egyptian employee.

The source pointed out that the contractor and two friends have been detained as part of criminal investigation to close the file. The source added, the victim’s phone is in police custody and contacts made between the contractor and the victim, are expected to play a part in solving the ‘death’.

The source added according to information the dead man was well behaved and honest to the point he worked in the same area for about two years and gained confidence of people in the area. It was reported earlier that the Ministry of Interior had been informed about the Egyptian who died with stabs to the chest in the Dasman area
