Consular services of Indian embassy closed from 27th Jun to 1st Jul

KUWAIT CITY, June 24: The Embassy of India in its memo stated that the embassy will remain closed for consular services from 27th Jun (Sunday) to July 1st (Thursday) as part of a precautionary health measure related to COVID-19. Emergency consular services will continue to render the mission on prior appointment basis. Passport services at all the three passport centers will continue.

Indian Ambassador to Kuwait HE Sibi George stated on his twitter account “Despite following all precautions and getting myself fully vaccinated, I tested positive for COVID-19 today, 24 Jun. I have placed myself in home quarantine following health guidelines. I request all who came in contact with me in last 10 days to take all precautionary measures”

Meanwhile The Indian Ambassador to Kuwait HE Sibi George met HE Ambassador Ali Sulaiman Al-Saeed, Assistant Foreign Minister, Asia Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kuwait and discussed, inter-alia bilateral relations, follow up on the positive momentum from External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar’s visit to Kuwait to further strengthen bilateral ties, Diaspora issues, and matters of mutual interest.
