Cheese counter shut due to violation of hygiene standards in a cooperative

KUWAIT CITY, Jul 9: The Inspection Department of Farwaniya Food and Nutrition General Authority closed a cheese counter in one of the cooperative societies in Farwaniya Governorate which violated health requirements and specifications.

The Director of the Department, Sattam Al-Jalal, stated to Al Rai, that the decision to close the cheese counter is due to previous violations in accordance to the establishment law No. 112 of 2013 related to the licenses and workers of the establishment which ensures integrity of the food material and its conformity to specifications and health requirements.

The management were made clear by the inspectors that the shop counter was closed for not complying with health requirements and hygiene standards.
