CCTV camera traps thief

KUWAIT CITY, May 29: Police have identified with the help of CCTV camera footage the thief who stole chairs from a restaurant in Shuwaikh, reports Al-Rai daily.

The daily added, an unidentified person who was repairing the door of the restaurant saw the suspect stopping his four-wheel drive and looking inside the restaurant through the glass. When he did not see anyone he stole some chairs which were in front of the restaurant and drove off.

The worker was able to photograph the number plate of the person’s car with his phone and informed the owner of the restaurant.

According to the worker, the man made suspicious movements and came to the place several times with the intention to rob.

Without going into more details the daily said the CCTV cameras installed in the restaurant showed that the person carried out the theft with confidence, like a professional thief. After the arrest police expect to solve the mystery of similar crimes.
