He called on concerned authorities to consider the needs of inhabitants for electricity and other basic services so as to improve their living condition, indicating the inhabitants wish the Ministry of Interior represented by its various security authorities will intensify security procedures and inspection campaigns in the evenings to deter crime in the area.

He further held the Municipality and other concerned authorities responsible for piles of waste accumulated in the area, noting laborers of the project contractors discard waste materials on the roads late at night. He also requested the Municipal Council and Kuwait Municipality to activate the names of all internal areas of the city that are currently specified by letters and symbols, stressing the inhabitants need the letters and symbols to be changed to appropriate names.

It is worthy of note that the tree enclosure, which is about 18 kilometers in length and 200 meters in width was planted to protect the city from dust at a cost of KD 6 million. However, it became a daily devour for cattle and sheep whose owners allow grazing without surveillance.
