Building permits to be issued in April

KUWAIT CITY, March 16: The Prime Minister, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad, called on state ministries and institutions to take executive steps at a rapid pace to enable citizens to enjoy their right to housing care under dignified conditions to guarantee they enjoy their basic rights without affecting the financial position of the Credit Bank, reports Al-Jarida daily.

The Government Communication Center stated on its Twitter account that His Highness appreciated the efforts of the ministers and the roles played by the state ministries and their official institutions in providing citizens the right to housing care. The center announced the intention of the Public Authority for Housing Welfare to issue building permits to citizens who have submitted housing requests on the outskirts of Al-Mutla’a area (N1- N2- N3- N4) starting from next April, under the directives of the political leadership and the follow-up of HH the Prime Minister. The center said the Ministry of Finance will coordinate with the Credit Bank to take the necessary measures to disburse the money decided to the eligible beneficiaries and to put in place mechanisms and controls that enhance the financial position of the bank and address the deficit in its financing activities.
