Boodai organizes farewell for Najia and Kumar – Group’s GM announces future plan to respond to rapid changes in the industry

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 6: Boodai Aviation Group have organized a farewell party for Monzer Najia, ex chief executive officer and Ajay Kumar, ex financial controller of the Group on the occasion of their retirement.

Najia have spent 20 years in his service tenure with the group while  Kumar 32 years.

The farewell dinner was attended by several airlines and travel agencies Managers and Boodai staff who expressed their sentiments towards Najia and Kumar by writing on a special big board that was fixed for this occasion.

During his speech, Robert Hayek, the Group General Manager has thanks both Najia and Kumar for their contribution in mounting solid roots for the Group thus making Boodai Aviation one of the leading travel groups in Kuwait.

Hayek announced a futuristic plan for the group to respond to the fundamental rapid changes in the travel industry where most of the passengers now use their smart phones in finalizing their travel and hotel bookings.

The plan will focus on enhancing and improving the Boodai on line booking engine “3otolat.com” where passengers can book all their travel requirements from tickets, hotel, transportation, car rental, sightseeing and even authentic restaurants through one site.

“3otolat.com” will be supported by professional call center to provide customers premier professional service under the slogan “Book on line with a peace of mind — we are in Kuwait”.

Hayek disclosed too that there will be a “Huge surprise” within the futuristic plan that by itself will provide the Kuwaiti and Expatriate travelers a new concept for organizing their travel plans and added that this will not be possible without the continuous hard work, professionalism and loyalty of Boodai staff.

Najia had expressed in his speech, his thanks and gratitude to Boodai Group and wished Hayek success in his new role as Group General Manager. His speech was followed by several words from the invitees namely Tayseer Barakat, Zaid Al Khubaizi, Fadi Hijazin and Ibrahim Kamal who all praised Najia ethics and morality.

After Kumar discourse in the occasion, Hayek presented memorable gifts for Najia and Kumar.
