Bid to grant excellent ‘bonus’

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 3: Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Hammed Al-Azmi issued his annual directive on the terms and conditions for granting excellent performance bonus to deserving employees in the General Diwan of the ministry, central departments, educational districts, religious institutes, schools and kindergartens for fiscal 2018/2019, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The daily obtained a copy of the directive which states the beneficiaries should have been in service in the ministry for two years, obtained ‘excellent’ rating in the annual performance evaluation, not subjected to disciplinary action during the evaluation year unless the offense has been cleared according to the Civil Service Law, and the period of actual engagement in executive work at the General Diwan, affiliated sectors, central and general departments in educational districts should not be less than 180 days
