KUWAIT CITY, Aug 23: An Egyptian expatriate was arrested for injecting youths with collagen similar to silicon in order to make their bodies bulky in less than one hour. According to security sources, officers from the General Department for Criminal Evidences had received information that the health of some youths had deteriorated after they took such in injections. It was discovered that the youths who went to the Egyptian expatriate’s flat would leave it looking very strong and pumped with steroids. For this, they paid almost KD 800.

However, this created diseases in the youths who sought treatment in hospitals. Their bulked-up bodies would shrink in less than one week. Investigations confirmed the involvement of the Egyptian expatriate in administering the injections. He was arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
