Battered body of Egyptian located

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 1: The security authorities are investigating the death of an unidentified Egyptian, whose battered corpse was found inside his apartment in Khaitan, reports Al-Rai daily. According to the daily, one of the residents of the building called the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior when he discovered foul smell coming from an apartment whose door was ajar.

When securitymen with Forensics personnel rushed to the apartment, they found the place empty and the dead man slumped on the sofa drenched in a pool of his own blood. He had allegedly died, not more than 24 hours ago, from a blow to the head with a hard object. His skull bore the brunt of the blow and his jaw appeared broken. A source added personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have begun investigations.
