Bangladeshi expat disappears with KD 7,000

KUWAIT CITY, March 27: A Kuwaiti citizen accused a Bangladeshi expatriate of breach of trust. According to security sources, the citizen explained to securitymen that he gave the suspect, who works as a sheep trader, KD 7,000 that was the annual profit he achieved, but the suspect disappeared with the money. Securitymen have launched investigations to find the suspect.

Wanted man held: Personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department have arrested a Kuwaiti man who had been sentenced in absentia to six years imprisonment, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily quoting security sources said when CID men got information about the man they got an arrest warrant from the Public Prosecution and seized the man from his home in the Jahra governorate. The man allegedly tried in vain to escape but he was overpowered and handcuffed. He has been referred to the Central Prison to serve his sentence.
