Ban on shrimp fishing in regional waters

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 2: Head of Kuwait Union of Fishermen Dhaher Al-Suwayyan says shrimp fishing has been banned in regional waters for the first time, reports Al-Anba daily. He said the ban, which was issued by Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR), will have bad impacts on the prices and the conditions of fishermen.
