KUWAIT CITY, Nov 12: The Administrative Court has nullified a decision taken by the Ministry of Communications to refuse blocking a YouTube link that contains a movie considered offensive to personality of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Faihan Al-Khalid had sued the undersecretary of the ministry to ensure he cancels the decision because the movie defames the Muslim Umma and is embarrassing to all Muslims globally.

The court carried out an investigation into the case by engaging some experts from Ministry of Justice. Both parties were summoned after complete information about the movie was obtained, in order to decide if it actually deserves blocking.

The experts collected two CDs of certain relevant movies, one of which was taken by the French company Charlie Abdou which published caricature about the Prophet (PBUH) to which Muslims all over the world had reacted against.

The officials, including the representative of the minister, later confirmed that the movies were offensive against the personality of the Prophet (PBUH).
