Assessment of Social Affairs Staff completed

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 23: Most departments in the Ministry of Social Affairs have completed the annual assessment of staff – performance, attendance and leave days –in preparation for disbursement of the excellent performance bonus for those who will obtain excellent rating; only a few departments have yet to complete the assessment in addition to the assistant undersecretaries’ evaluation of the performance of directors of departments, reports Al-Rai daily quoting a reliable source.

Explaining the assessment process this year, the source pointed out that if the ministries and Civil Service Commission (CSC) apply the automatic rating system – 70 percent by the workplace and 30 percent by the CSC; only a few public sector employees, specifically those working at the ministry, will receive the excellent performance bonus.

It is worth mentioning that after the daily published news on the request of CSC for the attendance and leave forms of public sector employees last Wednesday, the directors in the ministry instructed the heads of departments to ensure the validity of their assessment of the performance of their staff.
