KUWAIT CITY, Oct 21: Personnel from the General Department for Residence Affairs have arrested three Asians for conducting plastic surgery on men and women, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily said the suspects were using fake social networking website accounts to advertise their trade. In a press statement, the Department for Public Relations at the Ministry of Interior said the suspects are not qualified. The suspects were caught red-handed. They have been referred to the concerned authorities.

Pot hidden in meat: A customs officers have arrested an Asian for attempting to smuggle three kilos of marijuana concealed in meat products, reports Al-Shahed daily. The suspect and the contraband have been referred to the concerned authorities.

2 held with drugs: Police from the Mubarak Al-Kabir governorate have arrested two Kuwaitis – one of them who had been sentenced in absentia for 42 months imprisonment – and a non- Kuwaiti, for possessing 11 narcotic pills and a quantity of heroin, reports Al-Rai daily. It has been reported, at the time of arrest, both men were under the influence of drugs. They have been referred to the General Department for Drugs Control
