Asians held for carrying drugs

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 11: Ahmadi securitymen arrested three Asians in Abu Halifa for the possession of an undisclosed quantity of drugs. While patrolling the area, the securitymen noticed the erratic movement of a Japanese-made vehicle so they signaled for the driver to pull over.

They checked his identification documents along with that of his two companions. The officers then found a nylon bag in the vehicle which contained drugs so they referred the three Asians to the Drug Control General Department for legal action.

Meanwhile, Farwaniya securitymen arrested an Egyptian man for trading in drugs. The officers patrolling the area got suspicious when they saw the man carrying a bag because he fled from the scene upon sensing police presence.

They chased the suspect and they later found some narcotic pills in his possession. A case was registered and the suspect was referred to the concerned security department.
