Asian duo arrested with paan and porn

KUWAIT CITY, Aug18: Two Asian expatriates were arrested in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area in possession of 250 grams of betel leaves (paan), and CDs with pornographic movies and pictures. According to security sources, Farwaniya securitymen were patrolling Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area at night when they suspected a vehicle with two occupants and ordered the driver to pull over. They checked the details of the two individuals and discovered they are Asians. They checked the vehicle and found a large number of CDs with pornographic movies and pictures as well as a pack of betel leaves. They arrested the two suspects and referred them with the confiscated items to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.

Drifters block road: A group of reckless drivers closed Kabad Motorway, at an intersection with Abdaliya area, to perform car stunts in front of a crowd of people. Several youths gathered in the area to watch the car stunts performed by these reckless drivers who put their lives and that of others in danger.

Man doing drugs: Jahra securitymen arrested a man in his 30s for consuming drugs. According to a security source, the securitymen were patrolling the area when they noticed the man sleeping in his car. They woke him up and questioned him. The officers then discovered in the man’s possession some rolls of hashish and drug paraphernalia. A case was registered and the suspect was referred to the concerned security department
