KUWAIT CITY, July 14: A Kuwaiti citizen was arrested for starting a quarrel along with five others at Souk Sharq, using a sharp weapon against their opponents, injuring two Kuwaiti citizens in the process, and possessing substances suspected to be drugs. Some others who were involved in the quarrel have also been arrested.

In a press release, General Department of Public Relations and Security Media of Ministry of Interior explained that the suspect, at the time of arrest, was in a disoriented state and in possession of the knife with which he attacked the two citizens.

They checked his vehicle and found substances suspected to be drugs. Five suspects who were fighting alongside the arrested suspect had managed to escape from the scene.

Securitymen arrested the rest and referred them to the concerned authorities. A case was registered. Necessary steps are being taken to arrest the five runaway suspects. A video clip of the incident has gone viral on social media
