Arab expat arrested at airport with KD 17,000 stolen money

KUWAIT CITY, May 18: An Arab expatriate was arrested at Kuwait International Airport in possession of KD 17,000 which he had stolen from the safe of his company. According to security sources, the expatriate had stolen the sum from his company’s safe and went to Kuwait International Airport to escape to his country.

When securitymen at the airport suspected him while he was waiting near the departure gate, they checked his details and searched him to find the money on him.

When questioned, he confessed to stealing the money from the safe of his company. He was arrested and referred with the confiscated money to the concerned authorities. Necessary action was taken.
