Amir sends Christmas, New Year’s greetings to Italy

ROME, Dec 21, (KUNA): The State of Kuwait Ambassador to Italy Sheikh Ali Al-Khaled Al-Sabah has conveyed greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al- Sabah to Italian President Sergio Mattarella.

The embassy in Rome said in a statement on Wednesday that the ambassador had taken part in the annual meeting of chief diplomats, including the Italian president, at the presidential palace — held for exchanging Christmas and New Year’s greetings. Ambassador Sheikh Ali Al- Khaled relayed His Highness the Amir’s greetings on the occasions to the president and his nation.

The latter expressed gratitude and wholehearted sentiments to His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince, the Government and the people of Kuwait, underscoring the deep and distinguished ties bonding the two countries and necessity of the mutual cooperation for regional security, peace and stability.
