Amir congratulates Pakistan on Independence Day

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 14: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al- Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of congratulations to the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi on his country’s Independence Day. His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah addressed cables of identical content to President Alvi. Meanwhile, His Highness the Amir sent a congratulatory cable to the President of Democratic Republic of Congo Denis Sassou Nguesso on his country’s National Day. His Highness the Crown Prince and His Highness the Prime Minister sent similar cables.(KUNA)
