Speaker sends cable of condolences to counterpart
KUWAIT CITY, Jan 11, (KUNA): His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Saturday sent a cable of condolences to Pakistani President Arif Alvi.
In the cable, His Highness the Amir expressed condolences on the blast that took place in a mosque in Pakistan’s southwestern city of Quetta, which resulted in many casualties. His Highness the Amir prayed for the victims of the attack, and wished quick recovery of the injured.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al- Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent similar cables. Meanwhile, National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim sent cables of condolences to his Pakistani counterpart Assad Qaiser and Senate of Pakistan’s Chairman Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani over the victims of a mosque explosion in southwest Pakistan
